Wendy Lea Chairman of the Board

Wendy Lea is an advisor on sales and marketing strategies for startup companies. In that capacity, she is Chairman of the Board for Newmerix, a board member for Stratify and Metallect, and an advisory board member for StillSecure, Beam, Amazon Consulting and the Forum of Women Entrepreneurs & Executives.

Previously, Ms. Lea established and led Siebel System's eBusiness Consulting business unit. She joined Siebel in 1999 as a result of its acquisition of OnTarget, Inc., a provider of sales and marketing process to the high technology industry. At OnTarget, Ms. Lea was VP of Marketing and Alliances.

Ms. Lea began in Customer Relationship Management space in 1984 with Acclivus Corporation as VP Sales and Marketing. In 1992 she joined The Sales Consultancy (TSC) in the UK, and assisted with its expansion into Europe. In 1995, she moved back to the US as co-founder TSC-US.

While at TSC, Ms. Lea was VP of Marketing and led the firm's channels and alliances practice. She co-authored two innovative sales methodologies: CHAMP (Channels and Alliance Management Process) and TMP (Territory Management and Planning). CHAMP and TMP assisted technology providers in executing complex, multi-channel strategies. Adopted as a global standard by leading technology firms such as IBM Software, Hewlett Packard, Cisco, Microsoft, and Oracle, these methodologies are now embedded in Siebel System's software applications.

Ms. Lea is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and lives in Menlo Park, California.

Dan Gannon, President and CEO

Dan Gannon brings more than 25 years of executive management experience to his role as Newmerix's CEO, including responsibility for sales, service, engineering, support, operations, and business development. Mr. Gannon leads Newmerix's high-growth go-to-market strategy that includes the expansion of its Automate! Suite of enterprise application lifecycle management (EALM) solutions across multiple ISVs, capitalizing on adoption of the solutions for compliance needs, and growing partnerships and sales internationally.

He comes to Newmerix from Determina, where he served as senior vice president of worldwide sales. Prior to that he served as the senior sales executive for Vericept Corporation, and Intelliden, with responsibilities spanning global sales, business development, professional services and customer support.

Gannon's earlier experience includes Senior Vice President of Worldwide Operations at DMW Worldwide, where he was responsible for global sales, business development and client services for this Internet infrastructure and application software company; Vice President of Global Business Development for the Baan Company, with responsibility for developing strategic relationships and channel distribution. Prior to Baan, he was Director of Major Accounts at Optika, Inc. Before joining Optika, he served as Senior Vice President at Anacomp, Inc.

Mr. Gannon attended the University of Michigan.

Seth Levine Principal, Mobius Venture Capital

Seth is a Principal at Mobius and joined the firm's Colorado office in 2001. Prior to joining Mobius VC, his career included operational, transactional, and advisory roles at both public and private companies.

In 1998 Seth joined a restart data communications company, FirstWorld Communications, where he was the third employee of a new management team to transition what had been a traditional competitive local exchange carrier ("CLEC") into the data and Internet world. Seth was the corporate finance half of the CFO position where he started and led the finance, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations groups. Seth then led the IPO process for FirstWorld's IPO in 2000 and negotiated simultaneous equity investments from Microsoft, SAIC and Lucent Technologies, eventually raising over $270 million from the IPO and these side-by-side equity transactions. When the company decided to focus on its data center and hosting business, Seth assumed operational control of the remainder of the business and led the Internet service provider, telephony and network integration portions of the company, representing in total approximately $50 million in revenue. He managed the sale of these lines of business in 2001.

Prior to joining FirstWorld, Seth joined the business development group of ICG Communications, a Colorado-based CLEC where he worked on various strategic partnerships and led their mergers and acquisitions practice. Previously, he was an investment banker in Morgan Stanley's telecommunications corporate finance practice, where he completed numerous equity, debt, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions assignments.

He currently serves on the boards of several private companies, including Atreus Systems, AuctionDrop, deCarta, Klocwork, Quova, SageFire and Newmerix.

Seth is a summa cum laude graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is active throughout the entrepreneurial community in Colorado, a member of the board of CU Denver's Bard Center for Entrepreneurship, chair of the award committee for the Boulder Chamber of Commerce ESPRIT Awards, and a member of the advisory board of High Country Ventures, a fund hired by the State of Colorado to invest money generated from certain tax credits in early stage companies across the state. Seth was previously a member of the board of the Denver chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Seth is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending his free time mountain biking, snowboarding and mountaineering, as well as spending time with his family. He writes a blog on technology, investing and living in Colorado at sethlevine.typepad.com.

Susan Cheng Administrative Director/CFO, IDG Ventures Pacific

Susan is a member of the original IDG Ventures team in San Francisco. As a General Partner in the first fund, Susan sits on the boards of Newmerix, Xythos Software and Vaultus. Susan manages all back office and financial operations for IDG Ventures Pacific. Susan also manages IDG's internal Venture Services Group, which provides liaison services to its global family of funds, introducing IDG assets of fund partners and coordinating joint administrative programs for the funds. Susan joined IDG Ventures from Teknekron Corporation where as Vice President and Treasurer, she represented Teknekron on the boards of seven enterprise software companies ranging from seed startups to mature public entities. Prior to Teknekron, Susan was a professor of finance at Columbia University and at UC Berkeley. In addition, Susan has conducted applied mathematical research at Los Alamos and Argonne National Laboratories. Susan has a PhD in finance from Stanford University, an MBA from Wharton and an MA from the University of Illinois at Urbana and a BA from Northwestern University, both in mathematics.

Gerd Goette Managing Partner, Siemens Venture Capital

Gerd is Managing Partner, based in Palo Alto, CA. He specializes in investments in energy, communications and industrial solutions.

He manages SVC’s investments in BPL Global, G2 Microsystems, GenBand, MontaVista, Newmerix, Prenova, Reactive NanoTechnologies, SmartSynch and Zolo Technologies. Earlier investments include Broadlight, Dune Networks, IP-Unity Glenayre, Kagoor Networks (acquired by Juniper Networks), Myrio (acquired by Siemens) and Verimatrix.

With more than 20 years of worldwide industry experience, he combines a strong technical background with wide-ranging operational skills. Prior to joining Siemens Venture Capital in September 2000, Gerd held the position of Vice President and Head of CableTV Solutions in Siemens Information and Communication Networks.

Gerd received a master’s degree in electrical engineering (Dipl. Ing.) from Technical University Darmstadt, Germany.
